please init
Initializes a git repository here, and generates please.md.
please initRuns git init if this directory isn’t already a git repository. Then, if an AI provider is already configured, eagerly generates please.md — the AI-written project description please otherwise only generates lazily, the first time please commit, please chat, or agent mode needs it.
please.md needs an AI provider configured first (please setup). git init itself always runs regardless.
Most other please commands need an existing git repository to make sense. Run one of them in a plain folder and please asks whether to initialize one right there, instead of just refusing.
