Two commands for setting up and moving where a project lives on GitHub.

please github

please github [github-origin-url]

Initializes Git if needed, switches to main, creates the first commit, sets origin, and pushes, all in one step. The URL is optional once origin already exists.

The same guardrails as please commit apply to the first commit: sensitive files like .env are skipped unless already staged, and build/dependency directories are added to .gitignore automatically before anything is staged.

please change origin

please change origin <url>
please change origin and push <url>

Moves the repository to another remote. The plain form only repoints origin. The and push form also publishes every local branch and tag to it, preserving history.

Both forms ask for confirmation before touching anything.
